ReForestation

‘reForestation’ is an urban redevelopment project in Sudbury’s business district. It enhances living conditions for students, young adults, and the elderly by integrating residences, a library, and a market space within walking distance, fostering community and cohabitation. Located adjacent to a train station and a short walk from the bus terminal, the design minimizes parking infrastructure, allowing these spaces to be reclaimed as car dependency decreases, promoting sustainability and adaptability.
